Marilyn Manson not only recently lost his defamation case against Evan Rachel Woods, but he may have to pay six-figures to cover her legal fees stemming from the high-profile case.

As per court documents obtained by Radar Online, the Westworld actress filed a request to have her ex-boyfriend cover $346,000 in legal fees, $9,000 in court fees, and $22,000 in other related fees. Evan is also asking for an additional $10,000 that she expects she’ll have to spent in the future to wrap up the defamation case.

The most significant of those changes was converting the detached two-car garage into a professional recording studio, complete with soundproof walls.

Manson originally filed a lawsuit against Evan and his other ex-girlfriend Illma Gore after the women made a series of disturbing accusation against the rocker, including that he was abusive towards them during their relationships.

However, Marilyn defended himself against their accusations, calling them untrue. He specifically argued that Evan and Illma were conspiring to ruin his reputation and career together, even saying they spread lies and tried to get his other exes to join their alleged smear campaign. This led him to file the defamation case.

During the case, Mason alleged he was the victim, not Wood and Gore. “To the extent I had relationships with these women, those relationships were consensual,” he testified, court document reveal. “I never abused, assaulted, raped, threatened, or ‘trafficked’ any of these women, as they contend. Their accusations against me of abuse, assault, rape, threats, and the like are unequivocally false.”

He furthermore claimed his mental health had suffered as a result of their accusations, saying, “I have suffered severe emotional distress as a result of Wood’s and Gore’s conduct as alleged in my Complaint. I am not a rapist or abuser, but many people now apparently think that I am.”

Eventually, however, the court dismissed Marilyn’s case, which has led Wood to file a new motion trying to recoup the money she spent defending herself during the defamation case.

Marilyn has responded to her request for a six-figure payout, but he appears to be fighting back. Not only does he claim Evan’s billing is “vague,” but that it’s “further obscured by redactions to entries for which she seeks compensation in full.”

“Worse yet, the time records reflect excessive and inefficient billing by partner-level attorneys charging up to $900 per hour, and rampant duplication of nearly all tasks, from legal research to court appearances,” Manson’s motion states.

While the rocker may have to pay something to his ex-girlfriend, he’s requesting the court “at the very least make severe reductions to the $387k requested.” The legal dispute remains ongoing.
